ABOUT ME

My name is Elin Martinsen, and as a photographer, my primary goal is to create images that stir deep emotions and provoke thought. I draw inspiration from a variety of sources, including photography, film scenes, and music. In fact, music videos and photo books are often the catalysts that ignite my creativity.

My studies at the Bilder Nordic School of Photography in Oslo in 2019 significantly deepened my understanding of photography. Over the years, I have traveled extensively, with a particular focus on Italy, using my camera to explore the world and develop my unique style.
I am driven by a desire to capture images that resonate directly with the heart, and this passion only grows stronger as time passes. To continuously evolve as a photographer, I actively seek new knowledge and insight. My participation in numerous workshops and mentoring programs has helped refine my visual language, making it more sophisticated and expressive.

The last years I have worked on personal projects mentored by Elisabeth Nordeng Aanes and Anne Helene Gjelstad.
